Construction
We supply equipment into many Construction projects across the private & public sectors. Projects such as Schools, Hospitals, Commercial & Retail.
Facilities
Our FM clients when working indoors benefit from our vast range of battery powered & alloy access products. We offer a 24/7/365 service for reactive situations when floods, fire & other emergencies occur. Temporary power, lighting, heating & building drying equipment is readily available, not to mention cooling equipment when we get those far too few hot spells & the air conditioning fails.
Government
We supply equipment into many Government bodies both local & regional. Covid testing stations, Nightingale Hospitals were supplied during the pandemic & in general, Polling Stations for elections, community events & local council roads & ground maintenance contracts are all supported by One Stop Hire.
Highways
Our nations highways are vast & have varied requirements. We supply contracts such as Smart Motorway upgrades, Highways maintenance, local authority pot hole repairs right up to new roads & motorway construction.
Industrial
Industrial customers include Power Stations & Wind Farms, Petro Chemical & large motor manufacturing plants such as Nissan & JLR. We supply equipment & services for their ongoing maintenance, new build projects & programmed shut down work which requires 24/7 support.
Housebuilding
Housebuilding is now a very strong sector for One Stop Hire. We supply into the housebuilder who specialises in the large high value homes, the large nationals who develop large rural & brownfield schemes for private & social use comprising of many hundreds of houses, through to the inner city developers who build apartment blocks for private residential & student accommodation.
Infrastructure
We are proud to have supported many clients on some of the country's major infrastructure projects. The multi billion pound expansion of Manchester Airport & the surrounding Airport City development saw us open a dedicated depot in Wythenshawe to support the work there. On the roads we have supplied to the new Preston relief roads & Smart Motorway projects on the M1, M6, M56 & M62. We have experience supporting AMP water contracts, Gas schemes & Telecoms upgrades across the regions.
Rail
Our rail maintenance customers rely on us to provide them with 24/7 cover to ensure rail closures are completed on time. On major projects such as the multi million pound electrification of the Blackpool to Manchester rail line we provided our full range of services to this key project for the economy of the Northwest.
Utilities
We work for many contractors supplying maintenance, upgrades & new services for all the Gas, Electric, Water & Telecoms sectors. Our range of equipment for excavation, cable & gas detection, access & safety systems critical to these clients is vast & constantly being updated.
Events
This is a growing sector for One Stop Hire. From large music festivals to Bonfire night local events we can supply everything an organiser needs. Temporary Power, Lighting, Welfare, Ground Protection & Crowd Control systems are all provided & we offer a comprehensive install & dismantle service to the events clients.
