One Stop Hire has made a fast and decisive start to 2026, investing £1.7 million into its hire fleet in January alone. The investment has seen over 1,000 new items of equipment added to stock within the first month of the year, significantly strengthening availability across the business.
The majority of this investment has been focused on fast-moving, high-demand equipment, ensuring customers benefit immediately from improved availability, reduced lead times, and greater reliability on site. Alongside this, One Stop Hire has also invested in a range of additional specialist and non-fast-moving assets, supporting longer-term capability and fleet resilience.

To further strengthen customer service in 2026 and beyond, One Stop Hire is actively engaging with specialist providers of AI-driven logistics technology. This initiative focuses on improving the efficiency of deliveries and collections & speeding up the turnaround of equipment in our workshops, so that our “Ready For Hire” bays are restocked faster.
