Our company has always been committed to providing our customers with the best possible service and products. In 2012, we recognised that our customers were not only buying consumables, PPE, and accessories from us but were also buying their own power tools, mini plant, and alloy access products, as well as hiring them in. We saw an opportunity to expand our product range and offer our customers the option to both hire and own equipment.

To achieve this, we established ONE STOP DIRECT in 2013 as a department that would deal with customer enquiries for equipment purchases. We made sure that our trade counters were updated with a more varied product range and set up a central warehouse for bulk stocks. We also recruited a team mainly from within the business, and they were trained to embrace the company motto, “The answer’s YES – now what’s the question?” – just like with HIRE.

Our clients soon realised that they could turn to ONE STOP DIRECT for anything out of the ordinary or difficult to source. We’ve had some unusual requests, and we’re proud to say that we’ve fulfilled them all. For example, we’ve sourced industrial bubble wrap, office furniture, and even a life buoy.
