Celebrating our Nominated Charities recent Award Ceremony.
On Thursday 16th November, a remarkable event unfolded as Chorley’s Youth came together to attend the Inspired Awards, marking a proud moment for Founding Patron, One Stop Hire. Inspire Youth Zone is a centre in Chorley that welcomes all young people living within the Borough and beyond, to come and join in on many wonderful activities.
Inspire Youth Zone offers young people a place to go, filled with inside activities, outside ventures, and guidance from qualified Youth Workers. The Zone gives young people somewhere to go to where they are not alone, improving mental health and social skills.
For half a decade Inspire have welcomed young people through their doors and helped rally the community into helping make sure there is a safe space for youngsters, accessible to everyone. One Stop Hire has been an active advocate of Inspire as a founding sponsor, taking immense pride in contributing to the community and Nominated Charity.
At the awards ceremony, our CEO, Steve Hitchen, attended and sponsored one of the Inspire awards. Steve presented the “Young Achiever of the Year” awards to the deserving young winners. This award is for those young people who have gone into employment, training or education and overcome substantial barriers to transform their lives. This message deeply resonates with One Stop’s commitment to nurturing our young employees and apprentices across all fronts.
