Christmas & New Year Equipment Suspension
As we approach the festive shutdown, One Stop Hire offers the option to suspend approved equipment over the Christmas and New Year period. This allows your equipment to remain on site without incurring hire charges, helping you avoid downtime before and after the holidays.
Suspensions
Keep equipment on site during the closure period without hire charges. Normal contract terms and conditions still apply, but hire fees are suspended.
How to Request a Suspension

- Alternatively, send an email to national@onestophire.com or call 0808 178 9800
- Provide us with the shutdown and return dates of your sites.
All requests must be submitted by 19th December 2025.

Equipment Exemptions
The following items cannot be suspended and will continue to incur hire charges during the closure:
- Non-mechanical equipment
- Tool chests
- Bowsers
- Lighting Towers

Terms & Conditions
- Suspension is made on the basis that the equipment is secure over the period of suspension.
- The risk of damage and loss remains the hirer’s responsibility.
