Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week at One Stop Hire

It’s National Apprenticeship Week and at One Stop Hire, we’re here to provide an excellent range of courses for Apprentices. These courses range from developing in-depth technical knowledge of equipment as Small Tool Fitters to learning Business & Administration as Business Administrators alongside the company’s leading experts. You may also be learning to conduct visual inspections, assisting in the configuration, and preparation of plant or equipment safely and efficiently for optimal performance as a Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic. One Stop Hire is in a constant state of growth, with growth comes opportunity and a lasting impression.



Apprentices – What to expect

During your 2 years as an apprentice, you will be learning alongside our knowledgeable and experienced mentors, and you can be sure that the services and training we offer are accredited to national standards. This is evident by being placed in GOLD with the 5% Club, being part of the Cross-industry Construction Apprenticeship Task Force and being a Disability Confident Employer, it has never been a better time to work with us.

Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic (Level 2)
  • 2 Years – plus End-Point Assessment (Located in Wigan)
  • Provided by Wigan & Leigh College
  • Must have GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4 and above or Functional Skills Level 1/2)
Hire Desk Controller (Level 2)
  • 2 Years – plus End-Point Assessment (Located in Chorley or Preston)
  • Course delivered online
  • Must have GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4 and above)
Lifting Equipment Technician (Level 3)
  • 2 Years – plus End-Point Assessment (Located in North West & North East)
  • Provided by City of Bristol College (Remote)
  • Must have GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4 and above)
Business Administrator (Level 3)
  • 2 Years – plus End-Point Assessment (Located in Chorley or Preston)
  • Provided by Runshaw College
  • Must have 5 x GCSE A* – D or 9 – 3 which must include GCSE English and Maths at A* – C / 9-4 (or equivalent)
